The BBC recently carried a story about the hidden lives of those who care. It gives a brief insight into the lives of several carers. One of whom speaks about hearing people refer to weekends with relief and says, “Carers don’t have weekends”.
Sorry to put a harsh on things at this time of year, but, for me, Christmas is a weekend magnified exponentially.
